Kalamazoo County Woman Arrested for Criminal Sexual Conduct

COLDWATER, MI – Michigan State Police Troopers from the Coldwater Computer Crimes Unit arrested Shannon Renee Moore, 35-years-old, of Kalamazoo, on Friday, May 17th, 2019, for criminal sexual conduct first degree, child sexually abusive activity, and use of a computer to commit a crime.Shannon Moore

Shannon Moore is suspected of sexually assaulting a minor child, creating video recordings of the events, and sharing the videos with other persons using the internet.

The incident stemmed from a Cybertip generated by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The investigation resulted in the identification/rescue of three minor children who are believed to have been victimized by the suspect.

If convicted, Shannon Moore faces 25 years in prison. She was arraigned in the Kalamazoo District Court today, Monday, May 20th, 2019.

At least one additional person is being developed as a suspect in this case.

Troopers were assisted in the investigation and apprehension of the suspect by members of the
Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department.
