Detroit Police want to Identify Driver and Passenger in West side Strong Armed Robbery [Video]

DETROIT, MI -The Detroit Police Department needs the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a male suspect wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred on the city’s west side.

On Thursday, May 29th, 2019, at approximately 9:45 a.m. a 61-year old woman was at a gas station in the 18000 block of Wyoming. An unknown suspect approached the victim and forcefully took her wallet containing personal items and an unknown amount of U.S. currency. The suspect arrived driving a red Ford Windstar, minivan with a temporary paper plate in the rear window. The suspect fled the location on foot westbound through the alley toward Washburn. The front seat passenger eventually exited the suspect’s minivan and drove away from the location east bound on W. 8 Mile Road.

Detroit Police are looking to identify and talk to the suspect’s passenger/person of interest in an attempt to identify and locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a black male, medium complexion, bald head and slim build. Last seen wearing a multi colored button down shirt with a white under shirt, a black adidas zip up jacket with white stripes down the shoulder and arms, ripped styled blue jean shorts, black ankle socks and red & black Nike gym shoes.
