Suspect Information Sought in West side Non-Fatal Double Shooting [Updated]

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police need your help with information as to the identity of an unknown shooter at a BP Gas Station on Telegraph Rd last evening.

Detroit Police needs assistance in locating an unknown suspect involved in the double non-fatal shooting of two victims on the city’s west side.

On Friday June 28th, 2019, at approximately 10:55pm, at the BP gas station at 7 Mile and Telegraph roads, an unknown suspect entered the location and fired several shots that hit a 13-year old boy and a 23-year old man.  Both of the victims are listed in critical condition.

The latest word is that the boy goes by the nickname of Dman. His actual name is Damarian Johnson. He just graduated from the 8th grade. He is said to be in very critical condition after being shot in the head. The source is telling MI Headlines that he has severe damage to the left side of his brain and that he is fighting hard for his life. The family is asking for everyone to pray for Damarian as he continues to try and recover from this senseless act of violence.

After the shooting the suspect fled the location on foot. Detroit Police needs your assistance in locating this suspect.

The suspect is described as a black male, mid-twenties, 5’11”, dark complexion, medium build, last seen wearing a red shirt with a Nike swoosh the words “Just Do It”, dark colored shorts and white gym shoes.
