Person of Interest Wanted in West side Fatal Hit and Run

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a Person of Interest involved in a fatal hit and run accident on the city’s west side.

On Thursday, June 20th, 2019, at approximately 10:25 p.m., in the 6000 block of McGraw, the victim, a 27-year-old woman was attending a candlelight vigil in the 6000 block of McGraw when the Person of Interest drove through the crowd and struck the victim. The victim later died due to her injuries.

The Person of Interest fled the location in an unknown direction from the area.

Description of suspect: A white female between the ages 30-35. She had brown hair and blonde tips driving a dark colored minivan no further description.
