Register Sex Offender Charged with Dearborn Home Invasion

In the early morning of June 4th, 2019, Dearborn councilman Robert Abraham awoke to noises and found an unknown man in his home. The resident chased the subject from the home and called the police. Investigators quickly identified Samuel Beasley, 29-years-old, of Detroit, as a suspect.

Samuel Beasley was located on June 5th, 2019 and placed under arrest for the home invasion. A search warrant on Beasley’s home in Detroit revealed numerous items believed to be stolen. Beasley was charged by the Wayne County Prosecutor with multiple felonies.

Beasley was arraigned in front of the Honorable Judge Salamey of the 19th District Court. Bond was set at $50,000 cash. Beasley pled not guilty at the 3rd Circuit Court and has a jury trial set for September 23rd.

Samuel Beasley is registered as a sex offender. He is required to register for the rest of his life time after he was convicted in 2007 for Criminal Sexual Conduct – Third Degree (multiple variables).
