DETROIT, MI – A Detroit woman who sent a relative a text message and then disappeared has been reported to Detroit Police as missing. Her family and Detroit Police kindly ask for your help to spread the word that they are searching for her.
Shatara Jonees has not been heard from since Monday August 5th, 2019, at approximately 2:19 p.m., in the 14000 block of Lappin, when she sent a text to her cousin telling her she was tired and emotionally upset.
The cousin attempted to reach her but was unable to make contact. Shatara did not show up to work on August 6th and her family is very concerned for her safety.
Shatara is described as a black female, 36-years old, medium brown complexion, last seen driving a 2010 Chevrolet Traverse gray in color, unknown on clothing description.
Shatara is in good physical and mental condition.
