Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office Investigating 2 Unarmed Robberies

HOLLAND, MI – The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two unarmed robberies that occurred in Holland Township between 11:50PM on August 22nd and 12:30AM on August 23rd, 2019. The suspect is believed to be the same person in both incidents.Holland Township Unarmed Robbery Suspect

On Thursday, August 22nd 2019, at 11:56PM, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office responded to an unarmed robbery at Raman Party Store located at 394 Chicago Dr, in Holland Township. An unknown race male entered the store wearing dark clothing, a mask over his face and gloves. The suspect demanded the cash from the register and then fled the store in an unknown direction. The suspect is between 5’5 and 6’0 with a medium build.

Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office and Officers from the Holland Department of Public Safety responded and a K9 from Holland City attempted to track the suspect. While this was occurring an additional robbery was reported a short distance away.

On Friday August 23rd 2019, at 12:26AM, a second robbery was reported at the Shell Gas station located at 160 N River Ave in Holland Township. The suspect description in this second incident was the same as the earlier robbery. Sheriff’s Deputies and Officers from Holland City then responded to this location and an additional K9 track was attempted, however the suspect was not located.
