PONTIAC, MI – A 26-year-old Pontiac man was shot and killed by an unknown assailant on Sunday August 25th, 2019 on Whittemore Street.
At about 4:57AM, Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 700 block of Whittemore on the report of a shooting. The caller advised that there was a man that was reportedly shot.
Deputies located a victim, identified as Bo Lee, 26-years-old, of Pontiac, in the doorway of a residence with 2 gunshot wounds to his torso. A witness reported seeing an unknown man approach the victim and shoot 3-4 times with a black and silver semi-automatic handgun. The suspect then took off running in an unknown direction.
Bo Lee was transported to McLaren Hospital via Star EMS, where he was pronounced dead. A forensic Crime Scene investigator, along with detectives, responded to the scene to begin their investigations.
The suspect is only described as wearing a grey sweatshirt. No further information is available at this time.
