Detroit Police seek Person of Interest in July Arson and Homicide [Video]

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating an unknown Person of Interest wanted in connection to a Homicide-Arson that occurred on the city’s east side.

On Wednesday, July 3rd, 2019, at approximately 7:15 a.m., in the 14000 block of Young, the Detroit Fire Department discovered human remains burned beyond recognition inside of the location. Later, through investigative work the remains were identified as a 28-year-old female victim. Detroit Police needs assistance in locating the Person of Interest, who may have information pertaining to this Homicide. The Person of Interest was last seen driving the victim’s 2017 Ford Edge black in color.
