Detroit Police seek Assistance to Solve Fort Street Gas Station Murder [Video]

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department needs assistance in identifying and locating suspects wanted in connection to a double shooting that occurred in southwest Detroit.

On August 29th, 2019 at approximately 11:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of S. Fort St., at the Exxon gas station, a white Dodge Caravan occupied by 3-4 suspects followed a black 2010 Ford Taurus vehicle into a Project Green Light Detroit gas station and fired shots at them.

As a result, an innocent bystander, Ray Baker, 46-years-old, of Detroit, was fatally struck as he was exiting the gas station. Additionally a 26-year-old woman was also struck while inside the black Taurus. A second person that was inside the black Taurus sustained injuries. Both were listed in stable condition. The Taurus fled in an unknown direction. The suspects fled going Northbound on I-75.

All suspects were wearing masks and armed who were in the white Dodge caravan.
