On Monday, August 23rd, 2019, at approximately 10:50 a.m., in the 10600 block of Gratiot Ave., an unknown male suspect entered a CVS and appeared to be talking on the phone. Upon entering the location the suspect walked up to the register and demanded money from the cashier. The victim complied and put the money in a CVS bag. The suspect then exited the location fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.
At this time it is unknown if the suspect had a weapon, however he had his hand in his pocket appearing to have one.
An undisclosed amount of U.S. currency was taken, and no injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a black male, dark complexion, in his late 30’s- early 40’s, wearing a gray baseball cap, dark colored hoodie, and blue jean pants, carrying a black bag.
