Detroit Police looking for Drive-thru Armed Robbery Suspect [Video]

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying an unknown male suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery that took place on the city’s east side.

On September 16, 2019, at approximately 9:00 p.m., in the 17000 block of Harper, a red 2019 Dodge Charger pulled up to the drive thru window of a local restaurant. The suspect (rear passenger) exited the vehicle then leaned into the drive thru window and demanded money from the cashier at gunpoint. The cashier complied. After taking the money, the suspect fled the location on foot eastbound from the location while the vehicle fled eastbound on Harper.

The suspect is described as a black male, medium brown complexion, 6’0”, thin build, 20’s, wearing a dark colored shirt and blue jeans, armed with a handgun with an extended clip.
