PONTIAC, MI – On Saturday September 21st, 2019, at about 3:15PM, Oakland County Sheriff Deputies responded to the 200 block of Johnson Ave. on the report of a disturbance. The suspect, a 44-year-old woman from Pontiac, reportedly attempted to run over victims with a motor vehicle.
The woman fled the area, but deputies were able to locate her at Sanderson and Cass Ave.
Information was gathered that there was a verbal family argument that became physical. The suspect attempted to run over the victims, an 18-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man, both of Pontiac, with a motor vehicle and drove into the house.
The house sustained damage from the crash. The victims were able to run out of the way. The suspect then backed out of the house and chased down the victims through the side yard. The victims were not hit. The suspect then fled the scene in a white Toyota pickup truck with heavy front-end damage.
Deputies were able to locate the woman. She was lodged at the Oakland County Jail pending issuance of criminal charges.
Star EM assessed all parties involved for injuries. Waterford Fire Department was called to the scene to assess the structural integrity of the house. Waterford Fire Department deemed the house to be uninhabitable until it can be further assessed by a structural engineer. The occupants vacated the home until it could be further inspected. The suspect’s vehicle was impounded.
The woman is expected to be formally charged with Domestic Violence snd Felonious Assault with a Motor Vehicle
