Detroit Police Looking for Fatal Stabbing Suspect Darius Calhoun

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department needs assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred on the city’s west side.

On Saturday, September 21, 2019, at approximately 9:29 p.m., in the 80 block of W. Arizona St., Medic arrived at the location for an EMS run regarding a decease/unresponsive 50-year old male. When Medics arrived, they attempted CPR. A suspect,a 26-year-old man, who was present at the time, took a woman, believed to be in her 20’s, into a bedroom and allegedly stabbed her while Medics were rendering aid to the man.

The suspect then left the location on foot prior to scout arrival. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, along with the man that was pronounced deceased due to natural causes, however medical examiners will determine the cause of his death.

The suspect has been identified as a Darius Calhoun, a black male, 26-years-old, 5’11, 250 lbs, medium brown complexion, brown eyes, last seen wearing a black t-shirt with blue jeans.
