Public Asked to Identify Hit and Run Driver in Roseville [Video]

ROSEVILLE, MI – The public is being asked to help identify the driver of a vehicle that intentionally hit a parked car and drove off.

Do you recognize this person? The driver intentionally hit a parked car on Voiland Street off Gratiot Ave in Roseville, across from Leo’s Coney Island, and then fled the scene. The suspect’s vehicle will have front end damage on the passenger side bumper.

The video was shared out to the pubic through the app Neighbors by Ring on Monday September 23rd, 2019. Neighbors is an app by Ring that allows its users to report crimes within their neighborhood and upload photo and video evidence to warn the local community. Even without a Ring Video Doorbell, you can use Neighbors by Ring with a free account to view and comment on nearby crime alerts or share your own.

A second video has emerged showing a vehicle similar to the first side-swiping a vehicle in the same area on Voiland Street.  A witness stated ‘not only did they sideswipe that car, they almost hit people crossing the street.’ The person driving this vehicle is suspected in a hit and run of a pick-up truck the night before a few houses down.

In both videos the vehicle being used appears to be a gray, older model, Ford Escape.

If you can identify this vehicle or the driver, you are asked to please call Roseville Police at (586) 447-4475
