Uriah Beauford Wanted for Benton Harbor Shooting

BENTON HARBOR, MI – On Monday September 23rd, 2019, at approximately 10:04 PM, Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety officers responded to a complaint of a shooting.

Officers responded to a residence in the 700 Block of Vineyard and found a 41-year-old Benton Harbor woman wounded by gunfire. The victim is being treated at Spectrum Lakeland and is currently in stable condition.

A suspect has been identified in the investigation. Police are seeking Uriah Beauford, a 23-year-old man. Beauford is also currently wanted for unrelated charges and may either be in the Benton Harbor, Grand Rapids, or Kalamazoo area.

Do not approach Beauford as he is considered Armed and Dangerous.

Contact authorities and report his location.
