2 Detroit Men Arrested in Livonia after Stealing Items from Multiple Vehicles

LIVONIA, MI – Livonia Police have arrested Jamale Fleming, 18-years-old, of Detroit and Alex McMullen, 19-years-old, of Detroit, on multiple charges stemming from multiple thefts from automobiles.

Fleming and McMullen were arrested on October 7th, 2019 within three hours of the incident.

At approximately 1:00 a.m., an alert citizen observed a male in the neighborhood attempting to open car doors and notified the Livonia Police Department. Patrol officers were dispatched to the area and began canvassing the neighborhood. Officers located and arrested McMullen and Fleming inside a stolen vehicle in the area. During the arrest, Fleming and McMullen were in possession of items that were stolen from numerous vehicles in the neighborhood.

On October 9, 2019, Fleming and McMullen were arraigned in the 16th District Court on an eight count warrant stemming from the incident. Fleming and McMullen are due back in court for a probable cause conference on October 17, 2019.
