Two Wanted for Attempted Robbery and Fatal Shooting on Detroit’s East Side [Video]

DETROIT, MI – Two individuals are wanted by Detroit Police for an attempted robbery and fatal shooting of man on the city’s east side last night.

The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two suspects involved in an attempted robbery / fatal shooting that took place on the city’s eastside.

On Thursday, October 24th, 2019, at approximately 9:10 p.m., in the 18900 block of Hayes, a 46-year old male victim was sitting inside of his vehicle with a passenger, when suspect one approached the driver’s side of the vehicle armed with a long gun. As the victim exited the vehicle, suspect one and the victim wrestled over the gun.

Suspect two approached the passenger side of the vehicle and engaged in a physical altercation with the passenger. It is reported that suspect two then produced a firearm and fired shots across the vehicle fatally wounding the victim. Both suspects fled in an unknown direction, no further information is available at this time.
