SENECA, IL – Two women from Michigan were arrested during a traffic stop near Seneca Illinois on October 14th, 2019, after Illinois State Police found over 30 lbs of Meth in their vehicle.
According to WCSJ News, Alyssa Bogart, 29-years-old, of Jackson, and Jahmera Brown, 21-years-old, of Detroit, were arrested following a traffic stop that was conducted on Interstate 80 near Seneca on that Monday around 3 p.m.
In furtherance, WCSJ reported that Illinois State Police allege that the stop was made after a trooper observed indicators of criminal activity which were not further identified in a prepared statement to the media.
Alyssa Bogart and Jahmera Brown were charged with delivery of meth of more than 900 plus grams, a class X felony. They both remain in the LaSalle County Jail on a $2 million bond. If convicted, the two could spend anywhere from 15 to 60 years in prison.
