Records from Oakland County show that Solana Cervantes has been charged with the murder of her 23-year-old former boyfriend and the father to her baby daughter.  The incident took place in the early morning hours of Sunday November 3rd, 2019.

Cervantes had gone out for the evening with friends.  When she arrived home, her former boyfriend, who had been staying at the house with the suspect and her child after he fell on hard times, began to strike her face and tried to strangle the woman.  Solana Cervantes, who is a valid CPL holder, was able to get to her weapon. He was transported to McLaren-Oakland Hospital where he died due to his injury.
