Detroit Police needs help to Identify Westside Robbery Suspect [Videos]

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police have released two videos and several photos of a suspect they are hoping that you can identify.

The Detroit Police Department needs assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred on the city’s west side.

On Saturday, November 16, 2019, at approximately 5:27 p.m., in the 2800 block of W. Grand Blvd. an unknown male suspect entered into a local restaurant and ordered food. Shortly after ordering and eating his food the suspect approached the cashier and demanded money.

The cashier complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of US currency. After taking the money the suspect fled the location on foot, walking east bound on W. Grand Blvd.

The suspect is described as black male, mid 30’s to 40’s, 5’11’’ to 6’2’’, 180-200 lbs, medium complexion,mustache and goatee. Last seen wearing a royal blue hat with a “D’’ in the middle, black hooded coat,dark blue jeans, black boots and dark sun glasses.
