Porch Pirate Takes Package from Clinton Township Home [Video]

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI – Its the holidays and an increase of packages being stolen off of porches will certainly rise. That is due to the fact that there are 6 less shopping days for Christmas and the convenience of ordering online and having those items shipped directly to your front door is very hard to resist.  Why fight the crowds when you don’t have to.

On November 26th, 2019, at approximately 2:42 PM, the subject seen in the video stole a package off a porch at a residence in the area of Groesbeck and Metropolitan Parkway.

It is obvious that the thief is aware that a video doorbell is there because he lowers himself to where it is difficult to get a good their at his face. It also appears that they may have a mask made from a bandana on their face.

What is even more disconcerting is that they run back to their newer Lincoln Towncar to make their escape.
