Two Suspects Arrested for Selling Meth and Fentanyl in Otsego County

GAYLORD, MI – Two suspects were arrested by the Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement (S.A.N.E.) team for their involvement in an investigation into the distribution of fentanyl and methamphetamine in Otsego County.

The investigation of the two suspects began in March of 2019. It is alleged that the two suspects were involved in the distribution of meth, prescription pills and heroin.

On Monday November 25th, 2019, detectives executed a search warrant on the suspects apartment on Johnson Road in the City of Gaylord. During the search of the suspects apartment, detectives located and seized fentanyl, methamphetamine, cash and other evidence of trafficking and use of drugs.

Raif Thomas Bonner, 37-years-old, of Gaylord, was arrested on one count of Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine (20 years/$25,000 fine) and one count of Possession with Intent to Deliver less than 50 Grams Fentanyl (20 years/$25,000 fine).

Stormy Jean Stallard, 40-years-old, of Gaylord, was arrested on one count of Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine (20 years/$25,000 fine) and one count of Possession with Intent to Deliver less than 50 Grams Fentanyl (20 years/$25,000 fine).

Bonner and Stallard were lodged in the Otsego County Jail pending their arraignment on November 26th.

S.A.N.E. was assisted by MSP Gaylord Post troopers and canine handler.

The investigation is ongoing and further arrests are expected.
