DETROIT, MI – A man was found shot and killed on Detroit’s west side early Wednesday morning. Not only was he shot to death but was also tied up with electrical cords and set on fire.
On January 22nd, 2020, Detroit Police and medics were dispatched to the scene of a possible person on fire at West Outer Drive and Westbrook.
Police say an unknown suspect allegedly shot a man and set him on fire. A witness told police they saw a minivan driving away shortly after the gun shots were fired. Afterwards, the suspect fled in a light colored minivan heading south on W. Outer Drive.
A person commenting on social media, who appears to have knowledge of the victim, answered another persons comment by stating “it was very personal he violated someone very badly from what it sounds like”.
The investigation is ongoing.
