Detroit Police seek assistance to Identify Person of Interest in Felonious Assault

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a person of interest who may have information regarding a felonious assault that occurred on the city’s east side.

On January 17, 2020, at approximately 10:10 p.m. in the 4600 block of Beniteau, shots were fired into a home. A black unknown vehicle was seen driving up to the residence, stopping and someone from inside of the vehicle fired shots, shortly after a white Nissan was also observed driving by. Surveillance footage captured the white Nissan at a gas station located in the 5600 block of French Rd. The driver of the white Nissan was observed walking into the location but exiting without making a purchase.

The person of interest is described as a male, 5’6’’ – 5’9’’, 150lbs, light complexion, thin mustache, gray hooded sweater, light blue jeans, black shoes and a royal blue puffy coat.
