3 Shot on Detroit’s West side after Argument Breaks out during Boxing Event

DETROIT, MI – At about the stroke of midnight on Sunday 3 people were shot who were attending an event on Detroit’s west side.shooting investigation

On January 26th, 2020, at approximately 12 :00a.m., in the 18600 block of Grand River Avenue, the victims, a 17-year-old girl, a 19-year-old man and a John Doe whose age is unknown at this time, were attending a boxing match. An unknown suspect fired shots into the group after an argument had broke out. As a result, all three victims were hit by the gunfire.

All 3 were privately transported to the hospital. 2 of them were listed in temporary serious condition. The John Doe male is listed in critical condition.
