DETROIT, MI – On Saturday January 25th, 2020, at approximately 9:20 p.m., a 26-year-old woman who was driving a 2008 black GMC Acadia collided with a 58-year-old driver in a 2010 Chrysler Town & Country.
The accident took place in the intersection of Joy Road and Westwood.
The 26-year-old driver of the Acadia was traveling east on Joy Road. The 58-year-old driver of the Chrysler Town & Country was traveling south on Westwood when the two vehicles collided.
As a result of the collision, a female passenger of the minivan was ejected. Her age is currently not known. She was transported to the hospital where she died due to the injuries that she sustained during the accident.
Another passenger of the minivan was also injured and is currently listed in critical condition.
