Mt. Morris Township Man Arrested on Multiple Child Porn Charges

MT. MORRIS TOWNSHIP, MI – The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force arrested Juan Andres Hernandez, 20-years-old, of Mt. Morris Township, for child sexually abusive activity, possession of child sexually abusive materials, solicitation of a child for immoral purposes, and using a computer to commit a crime.child porn arrest

Juan Hernandez was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his home. The investigation was initiated after the MSP received an investigative lead from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.

Following a forensic examination of the digital evidence, Juan Hernandez was charged with four counts of child sexually abusive activity, three counts of possession of child sexually abusive material, one count of solicitation of a child for immoral purposes, and eight counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Hernandez was arraigned in 67th District Court on Saturday, Jan. 25.
