DETROIT, MI – A shootout between two women during an argument on Detroit’s westside has left one of them in critical condition.
On Thursday January 30th, 2020, at approximately 3:00 a.m., in the 15700 block of Stout, a verbal altercation ensued between two female neighbors. During the argument, the 71-year-old woman (suspect) allegedly struck the 55-year-old woman (victim) with an object.
The victim, a CPL holder, fired a shot striking the 71-year-old woman. The 71-year-old woman, also a CPL holder, fired a shot striking the 55-year-old woman.
The victim was conveyed to a local hospital by medics and is listed in temp-serious condition. The suspect was also conveyed to a local hospital and is in critical condition.
Those who reside in the neighborhood have stated that the 71-year-old woman has been a nightmare for some time now. They state that she has been causing problems with others for a long period and they just want it to end. Parents of children in the area stated that their kids are afraid of the senior citizen. Everyone is hoping that this incident will bring all of that to an end so they can live in peace.
