Suspected Drug Dealer Slips out of Handcuffs and Runs from MSP

DETROIT, MI – A suspected drug dealer is back in custody after he slipped his handcuffs and ran from Michigan State Police.

On February 3rd, 2020, at approximately 9:30 PM, MSP troopers were working in Corktown when they came in contact with a suspect they believed was selling narcotics. He was taken into custody. During the investigation the suspect slipped his cuffs and ran.

He was taken into custody by Detroit Police when they spotted him near 6th and Labrosse.

An investigation is continuing into this incident.
