FRENCHTOWN TOWNSHIP, MI – An Armed Robber heldup the Applebee’s restaurant located at 2100 N. Telegraph Rd in Frenchtown Township, Michigan. The incident occurred at approximately 8:00AM on Tuesday, February 4th, 2020.

An unknown male suspect, wearing dark clothing and a ski mask confronted the restaurant manager as he was opening up the restaurant for the day. The unknown suspect produced a black handgun and ordered the restaurant manager to open the safe. The suspect then tied the manager up and took an undisclosed amount of money from the safe. The suspect fled the restaurant on foot in an unknown direction.

The manager did not suffer any injuries as a result of the incident.

The K-9 Division of the Michigan State Police assisted with the investigation.
