Clerk at Livonia 7-11 Held Up At Gunpoint [Video]

LIVONIA, MI – An employee with a 7-11 store is thankful that he was not injured any more than he was when two armed robbers entered the store early Thursday morning in the 27000 block of Seven Mile Rd.

On Thursday February 13th, 2020, at approximately 1:08 am, Livonia Police Officers responded to the report of an Armed Robbery that had just occurred at the 7-11 located at 27435 Seven Mile.

The lone clerk on duty stated that he had just been assaulted and robbed by two black males wearing masks. The victim further stated that Suspect #1 had produced a short-barreled shotgun, jumped over the counter and ordered the victim to open both cash registers which contained very little cash. Suspect #1 struck the victim several times with the shotgun. Suspect #2 emptied the cash registers and grabbed a few boxes of Backwoods Cigars. The victim suffered minor lacerations and contusions to the head from the attack and was treated at the scene. He has made a full recovery.

Based on the security video and the victim’s statement:

Suspect #1 is described as being a black male approximately 5’9” to 5’11”, medium build, 190 to 210 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white marks on the hood, black sweatpants, gray and white shoes, a red ski mask and was armed with a short-barreled shotgun.

Suspect #2 is described as being a black male 5’8” to 5’9”, medium build, 180 to 200 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, black and white shoes, a blue mask and he was carrying a red bag.
