DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a male suspect wanted in connection with a non-fatal shooting and felonious assault that occurred on the city’s east side.
On Sunday, December 15th, 2019, at approximately 12:13 a.m. in the 3800 block of E. McNichols Rd (Green Light location), the suspect and both victims were inside the location when an argument occurred between victim 1 and the suspect. During the argument the suspect produced a firearm and physically assaulted the victim with the weapon. As a result the weapon discharged striking the second victim. After the incident the suspect left the location in a silver Chevy Malibu traveling eastbound on E. McNichols Rd.
The victims conveyed themselves to the hospital for treatment. Victim 1 was listed in stable condition while victim 2 was listed in critical condition.
Suspect description: Black male, 20-30 years of age, medium build, medium brown complexion, full beard and mustache, wearing a black skull cap, black puffy jacket, black pants with white strips, and tan boots. Driving a silver Chevy Malibu with the passenger side headlight out.
