Kenyel Brown Charged with River Rouge Murders

DETROIT, MI –  Kenyel William Brown, 40-years-old, of River Rouge, has been charged in connection with the murder of two people and the non-fatal shooting of a third person in the City of River Rouge.

On February 2nd, 2020, Kenyel Brown entered a house on the 500 block of Beechwood in River Rouge where he shot three people, killing two. Killed were of 52-year-old Kimberly Green and 48-year-old Dorian Patterson.

He has been charged with two counts of First Degree Premeditated Murder, one count of Assault with Intent to Murder, one count of Assault with Intent to do Great Bodily Harm Less than Murder, one count of Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and five counts of Felony Firearm.  Kenyel Brown was taken into custody yesterday.

Information regarding arraignment is not available at this time.
