Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement Arrest 3 after Four Month Drug Investigation

ALANSON, MI – After a four month investigation into the illegal sales of narcotics in Emmet County, detectives from the Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement team (S.A.N.E) arrested 3 men in Alanson.emmet county drug arrests

On February 11th, 2020, a suspect who allegedly was selling cocaine along with his source were identified. A search warrant was executed on a residence in Alanson where the cocaine was being stored and sold. Officers seized the cocaine, cash and other evidence from the home. Three suspects were in the home when the search warrant was executed.  All three suspects were immediately arrested and placed in the Emmet County Jail.

The following suspects are now facing charges:

Brett Eric Williams, 21-years-old, Alanson:

  • Count 1 – Delivery of Cocaine – 20 years in prison and/or a $25,000 fine
  • Count 2 – Conspiracy to Deliver Cocaine – 20 years in prison and/or a $25,000 fine

Adam Nicholas Albrecht, 22-years-old, Alanson:

  • Count 1 – Delivery of Cocaine – 20 years in prison and/or a $25,000 fine
  • Count 2 – Conspiracy to Deliver Cocaine – 20 years in prison and/or a $25,000 fine
  • Count 3 – Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine – 20 years in prison and/or a $25,000 fine
  • Count 4 –  Maintaining a Drug House – 2 years in Prison and/or a $25,000 fine

Darren Andrew Robinson, 19-years-old, Alanson:

  • Count 1 – Delivery of Cocaine – 20 years in prison and/or a $25,000 fine
  • Conspiracy to Deliver Cocaine – 20 years in prison and/or a $25,000 fine

The Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement team was assisted by the Emmet County Sheriff’s Office and the Michigan State Police Gaylord Post Canine Handler.
