$40,000 of Property Stolen in Mecosta County

CHIPPEWA TOWNSHIP, MI – On March 19th, 2020, at 3:55 PM Deputies from Mecosta County Sheriff Office Investigated the Breaking and Entering of a seasonal residence on Miramichi Dr. in Chippewa Township.

It was determined at the unknown suspects stole over $40,000 of property from the residence.   The suspects stole a bass boat, two four-wheelers, a zero turn lawnmower, ammunition, 3 guns and multiple other personal items.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office has investigated three similar breaking and entering’s to seasonal residences in their jurisdiction. It is unknown if all of these crimes are connected.
