2 Manistee City Police Officers Test Positive for COVID-19


MANISTEE, MI – On Friday April 3rd, 2020, the Manistee City Police Department learned that two officers tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.Manistee-Police

The Manistee Police Department is working closely with the District Health Department. At this time, they have reached out to all potential exposure risks. There are currently 4 additional officers that have been quarantined per the Health Department.

The Manistee City Police Department remains vigilant. We are here to serve and respond to community needs. The Manistee County Sheriff, Michigan State Police and Little River Band Ottawa Indians Tribal Police are working with the Manistee Police Department during this time.

The Manistee Police Department wishes to remind everyone of the Governors order to stay home. “The virus can hit anyone. We are all in this together. We are grateful to have the support of the community.”
