In a rural area like that near West Branch, you never can be to careful. There are things that happen that will scare the life out of you . That happens even more so when your more used to living near a city than the woods as well.

After investigating, it was determined to be a Bobcat to have made the noise. This sound is known as caterwauling.

When a bobcat makes this type of sound, it can make you stop in your tracks. The noise can send chills through even the bravest of men. Not knowing or being familiar with this sound can convince you that a woman is being murdered like that in the latest horror film out there. The blood curdling screams can be heard from as far as a mile away.
