DETROIT, MI – A 21-year-old Detroit woman has been charged in the double murder of two men on April 4th, 2020.
Dariyan Bailey, 21-years-old, of Detroit has been charged by Prosecutor Kym Worthy in connection with the homicides of Anthony Beavers, 29-years-old, of River Rouge, and Raymond Williams, 27-years-old, of Ecorse.
On Saturday, April 4, 2020 at 10:04 a.m. medics were dispatched to Keeler and Appoline Streets in Detroit and found Raymond Williams in the driver’s seat of a sedan and Anthony Beavers, in the passenger seat, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Detroit police officers were called to the scene by the medics who pronounced both men dead at the scene.
On April 17th, 2020, the investigation by the Detroit Police Department lead to the identification and arrest of Dariyan Bailey for the homicides. Further details about the case will be produced in court at the Preliminary Examination.
On April 19th, 2020 , Dariyan Bailey was charged with two counts of First Degree Murder, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and two counts of Felony Firearm. Today she was arraigned and remanded to jail. Her Probable Cause Conference is on May 5, 2020, and her Preliminary Examination is on May 11,2020, both before Judge Kenneth King.
