DETROIT, MI – A mother and Detroit Police are searching for a 13-year-old girl who ran from her mother’s car after getting into an argument. She has not been seen since then.
Lanyah Hopkins was last seen on Friday, April 24th, 2020, at approximately 11:00 p.m. in the area of Lahser and Pembroke. She was involved in an argument with her mother while in her mother’s vehicle. Lanyah exited the vehicle and ran away. She never returned to her home located in the 16000 block of Burgess.
Lanyah is described as a 13 year old black female, 5’3″-5’4″, 130lbs., black hair, brown eyes, scars on her left and right biceps. She was last seen wearing an army fatigue durag, blue and orange Tigers windbreaker jacket, black and white jogging pants with LOVE written down the leg and black shoes.
Lanyah Hopkins is in good physical and mental condition.
