Two Cousins Killed in Car Crash near Bayliss and Pilgrim in Detroit

DETROIT, MI – On Sunday April 26th, 2020, at approximately 11:49 a.m. in the area of Baylis and Pilgrim, the two men, in their 20’s, were traveling southbound on Baylis in a blue 2001 Pontiac Sunfire when a gray 2017 Dodge Charger traveling at a high rate of speed on Pilgrim collided with the victim’s vehicle.

We had have received information earlier that the two victims were brothers. Fox # is reporting that they are cousins. Teon Williams and Leon Freeman.

After the collision, the charger flipped over. The suspect exited the vehicle and fled the scene east on Pilgrim.

The suspect is described as a black male, 18-22, light complexion, wearing green sweatpants. The two victims in the Pontiac Sunfire were pronounced Dead at the Scene. The circumstances surrounding this incident are still being investigated.
