DETROIT, MI – A 16-year-old girl with a history of mental illness has been reported to Detroit Police as a missing person.

Shamiya Williams was last seen on Friday, May 8, 2020 at approximately 4:00 p.m. while she playing outside of her resistance located in the 19000 block of Teppert. 

Shamiya is described as a 16 year old black female, 5’2”, approximately 120 lbs, brown complexion and curly afro with blond tips.She was last seen wearing a black jacket with silver sleeves, light blue Distress holy jeans and navy blue shoes.

Shamiya Williams is in good physical condition, but according to her family, she suffers from a mental illness.
