Drug Traffickers Busted after Speeding on I-94 near Benton Harbor

BENTON HARBOR, MI – A traffic stop by Michigan State Police resulted in the arrest of three individuals who are alleged to be drug traffickers that were headed to Benton Harbor with a fresh stash of pot and pills.

On Friday May 22nd, 2020, Troopers from the Michigan State Police Niles Post stopped a vehicle for speeding on I-94 in Benton Township.

The occupants of the vehicle were arrested for trafficking drugs destined for the City of Benton Harbor. Troopers Discovered 200 Ecstasy tablets and 1 1/4 pounds of marijuana.

The three occupants of the vehicle were lodged in the Berrien County Jail for felony drug and conspiracy charges. Their names are being held pending arraignment.
