DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police need that one important tip that you just might be able to provide to solve a case where a 27-year-old man was involved in a fatal hit and run on the eastside of the city.

The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect and vehicle that was involved in a fatal hit-and-run on the city’s east side.

On Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at approximately 1:33 a.m., a 27 year old male victim was walking in the street in the 18000 block of Dequindre when he was fatally struck by an unknown suspect driving a 2011, or 2012 Ford Escape. After the incident, the suspect continued driving southbound on Dequindre.

Suspect’s vehicle has heavy front end damage.
