Shelby Township Police want to Identify Driver of Van

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, MI – On May 27th, 2020, at about 6:00p.m., the Shelby Township Police Department investigated a suspicious incident in the area of 21 Mile Rd and Schoenherr Rd.

The suspect vehicle followed an 11-year-old girl who was riding her bike before the driver of the van stopped in front of her. The driver got out of his vehicle and grabbed on to the handle bars of the child’s bike, shaking the bicycle under the little girl fell to the ground. The suspect then let go of the bike, got back into his vehicle and fled the scene.

The vehicle appears to be a 2003 Custom Dodge Ram Van. The vehicle appears to have three chrome wheel with the forth front passenger side being a dark ‘Rally’ type wheel.

The driver was described as a white male, about 55-years-old, thin build, wearing blue jeans and had a grey facial stubble.
