Detroit Police want Info on Rutherford Street Shooting

DETROIT, MI – Roderick Cephus Jordan is the main suspect in the shooting of a woman and her 1-year-old child and Detroit Police are asking for your help to locate that man.

The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection to a non-fatal shooting that occurred on the city’s west side.

On Tuesday, June 2nd, 2020, at approximately 12:20 p.m. in the 19700 block of Rutherford, during a verbal altercation, the suspect produced a weapon and fired shots striking the 21 year old woman, who Detroit Police are saying is a sister of Roderick Jordan, and her 1 year old daughter. Both victims are listed in stable condition.

The suspect fled in a black 2015 Chrysler 200. Michigan Plate # EAT-9039.

Suspect: Roderick Cephus Jordan, black male, 28, 6’2”, 200 lbs. and has green eyes.
