DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection to an armed robbery that occurred on the city’s west side.

On Monday, June 8th, 2020, at approximately 11:00 a.m. the suspect approached the 40-year-old man while at the pump at the Sunoco Gas Station located in the 12000 block of Grand River (Green Light Location) and announced a robbery. The suspect took jewelry, sunglasses and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency from the victim and escaped in a dark blue Dodge Caravan with a North Carolina plate # EAT-The victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as a black male 20-25 years of age, 5’-10”, 150 lbs, dark complexion, long skinny dreads, with a full beard and tattoos on both arms. The suspect was last seen wearing a black Lacoste shirt with a white Lacoste emblem on the front, black jeans armed.
