The victim, a 20-year-old man, was near the back parking lot when he was shot while in his car. He was taken to a local hospital but sadly, as the information unfolded, it was learned that he did not survive his injuries. A person who knows the young man and his family stated that he did not survive and they are asking for prayers for the family.

Shortly after the first confirmation that the young man had died another confirmation was posted that stated they had been in contact with authorities and that he did indeed pass.

No employees or customers were involved or injured in the shooting. The restaurant closed for business so the investigation into the incident could take place without interruption.

Commentary in the group on Facebook shows this may not have been the first shooting incident that has taken place near this particular restaurant. Though it is difficult to determine when a previous assault may have happened but it does appear within the past year or so. In researching for that information, nothing could immediately be located.

No further information is available at this time. Please check back for updates.
