Shots Fired during Attempted Robbery near Patton and Grand River

DETROIT, MI – On Friday June 12th, 2020, at approximately 5:20 p.m., in the area of Patton and Grand River, a 27-year old man was sitting in his vehicle, a 2019 Jeep Cherokee, when three suspects pulled alongside of him in a White Jeep Compass and attempted to robbed him.

At that time, the victim allegedly produced a weapon and fired a shot at the suspects who allegedly returned fire and striking him. After the suspects fired their weapons, they fled the scene.

The victim drove himself to the hospital where he was treated and listed in stable condition.

The suspects were described as 3 black males, wearing all black clothing and a black mask.
