DETROIT, MI – A man reported to Detroit Police that he was asleep in his vehicle early Saturday morning when an unknown suspect woke him up, ordered him out of his vehicle, and carjacked him.

On Saturday June 13th, 2020, at approximately 3:15a.m., in the area of 7 Mile and Meyers, a 22-year old man was allegedly asleep in his vehicle when an unknown suspect approached him and demanded his car.

The victim compiled, exited the vehicle and the suspect allegedly drove away in the victim’s white 2016 Chrysler 300, tinted windows and paint scrapping on the left side of the rear bumper.

No description of the suspect has been provided at this time by Detroit Police.
